April 16th 2010: The whole of Europe paralysed, all flights cancelled and German techno legend Stephan Bodzin stuck in his hometown of Bremen. 

October 9th 2010: Stephan Bodzin finally makes his Arches debut... 

German techno DJ, producer and label owner Stephan Bodzin is a classically educated musician, originally composing for European theatres. His ear for innovation and originality – which earned him his nickname ‘melody man’ - continued into his electronic music when he found techno in 2006, and his remixes fast became an essential addition to any self-respecting techno DJ’s record bag. Often working alongside his techno blood brother Oliver Huntemann as well as Marc Romboy, he has remixed for the likes of Depeche Mode, Booka Shade and The Knife, and his album Liebe Ist... was released on his own label, Herzblut, in 2007.

His live sets are, creatively, hard to beat - blending heavy basslines with a tech-house sensibility and rhythmic, percussive melodies, Bodzin's sound is the classic sound of Glasgow's original underground scene.   

Hell Events are a Glasgow-based techno collective. Formed in 2007, their mission is to provide quality line-ups and memorable nights. Past guests have included Paul Woolford, Yousef, Luke Slater, Popof and Mr. C.
