The bustling hub of the Arches foyer is an unexpected showground for some of the city’s most promising visual artists

Predominantly through the foyer space, which also serves as a bustling hub of creativity for both visiting and local artists and musicians as well as the public, the Arches hosts a year-round programme of visual art, offering an exhibition space for a diverse selection of local artists.

As well as hosting the National Review of Live Art and New Territories festivals, our commitment to the genre was developed even further last year as we played host to a spectacular 13-hour performance/installation by feminist musician and performance artist Linder – the only other performance of the show outside of London.
