Behaviour Talks: Free discussion with Chris Thorpe

Behaviour 2012:

Behaviour Talks: Free discussion with Chris Thorpe

Thu 22 Mar 2012 | 5pm-6pm | Free but ticketed (reserve your ticket at the Arches Box Office)

Join writer and performer Chris Thorpe and other festival participants as they scrawl down something that tries to make sense of what it all means…

“If we put ourselves into the art we make, and we want to make more art, and better art, how do we avoid making art that’s about our experience of making art? Should we try to avoid it?”

Responding to the above provocation, participants and audience will be encouraged to contribute their own thoughts and responses to authenticity and autobiography on stage in this artist-led discussion – whether in the form of an image, an object, a prepared response…

Chris Thorpe will be presenting The Oh Fuck Moment with poet Hannah Jane Walker on Wed 21st and Thurs 22nd March.

Why not make an evening of it?

5pm-6pm Chris Thorpe talk
6pm Dinner in the Arches Cafe Bar & Restaurant
7pm-8.15pm Robert Softley: If These Spasms Could Speak
9.15pm The Oh Fuck Moment
