A dance double bill featuring new work from Smallpetitklein and Jack Webb.

Falling Man,  a solo piece performed by the Arches’ new Associate Artist Tom Pritchard, is inspired by Richard Drew’s controversial photographic series, which captured a man falling from the World Trade Center on 11th September in 2001.

Falling Man is a hauntingly beautiful work that combines text and subtle storytelling to deliver an inherently emotive piece of dance theatre.  Exploring the impact of the tragedy on those who were left behind, the work also examines the consequences of terrorism on individual lives, and the impact on communities at local, national and international levels.

Heartbreaking in its honesty, this timely piece convulses with a raw, brutish force that will electrify and move audiences as we draw closer to the 10th anniversary of the attacks. It will be performed in New York on 28th and 30th April.

Completing this double bill, Scottish choreographer Jack Webb presents a new piece exploring the subconcious mind.
