One Thousand Paper Cranes

An Edinburgh Fringe 2011 preview

Tue 2 Aug 2011 | 2pm and 7pm | £5

When Sadako finds herself in hospital, she doesn’t like it one little bit. Everyone wants to prod her and poke her and find out what’s wrong. But when her best friend Chiziko arrives they decide to change all that. Together.

Based on a true story, One Thousand Paper Cranes is a play about two friends trying to make sense of life. Written by Abigail Docherty (SEA AND LAND AND SKY) it is presented by Catherine Wheels, the company behind the multi-award winning show for young people, White.

This performance at the Arches, Glasgow is a preview before the show goes to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2011. Catch it at the Assembly George Square from 6th-27th August – go to the Made In Scotland website for details.
