Taste The World: Arches Menu Takeover inspired by Refugee Week Scotland

As part of Refugee Week Scotland, women from The International Women’s Group and Arches head chef Robbie McGuiness have been working together to produce a menu of culinary delights inspired by their home countries of Palestine, Algeria, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria and Sudan.

Each day there will be a different selection of delicious dishes on offer, including the likes of:

Marinated shawarma chicken breast, tabbouleh, sumaq courgettes, mint and cucumber yoghurt
Seared swordfish, curried cous cous, fenugreek pesto
Spiced lamb shoulder, mujadara, aniseed roasted vegetables, saffron oil
Yogurt and saffron chicken, flat bread, pilaf brown rice
Coriander-marinated coley, beetroot quinoa, pumpkin seed salad , pumpkin seed oil
Mezze platter: falafel, tabbouleh, mujadara, mint yoghurt, flatbread (v)
Potato and okra curry, fried red rice with chickpeas (v)
