The Love Club: Good Housekeeping Day

Mon 9 Jul 2012 | 7pm | £4 (pay on door)

proudExposure‘s Love Club takes over the Arches foyer to celebrate Good Housekeeping Day.

On the anniversary of Good Housekeeping
We thought we’d have a little meeting
Bringing Art, Craft and Music
Poetry, Cake and Joy
To form an eve celebre, for every girl and boy

Glasgow’s first ever evening craft fair/chill-out spoken word music club night! Joined by Love Club regulars and extra special guests, bask in the usual glory of our Love-Inn accompanied by Glasgow’s finest craft sellers, exhibited for your glory [and purchase] all evening. A celebration of all that is domestic and good with this dear green place…

Hosted by infamous New York performance artist Markus Makavellian (“a glittering colossus” – The Metro), The Love Club is a wonderfully relaxed evening of tea, cake, music, spoken word and knitting, celebrating a different occasion each month. There are no tickets, but you can offer a suggested donation of £4 on the door for the artists taking part.
