Muvizu presents: GYFF and BFI Future Film presents

Sun 12 Feb 2012 | 2.30pm - 4pm | Free (collect your free ticket on the day from the Arches Box Office)

What makes a great pitch? How do you sell your big ideas to others? Come and learn from the professionals!

GYFF and BFI Future Film Festival want you to #Tweetapitch. That is, to be in with a chance of winning a place on a filmmaking workshop at one of four partner venues across Europe, all you need to do is send in a pitch for a documentary you’d like to make either on Twitter (@Yollywoodfilm) or by email (using 140 characters max to futurefilminstitute@bfi.org.uk).

The six best pitches will be selected and the filmmakers invited to join us at GYFF 2012 for this live pitching event, where you’ll need to convince a panel of industry judges that your film idea is the best of the bunch. The two winners, who will be selected on this day, will be invited to a workshop in either Amsterdam, Seville, Istanbul or Warsaw.

Competition entrants must be aged 16 – 25 and must live in Scotland. They must also be able to make their own way to this event. Free tickets will be available on the day from The Arches Box Office.
