The story of Armada Music is one of music, passion, and hard work. Growing from a boyhood dream into an award-winning company, the Amsterdam-based record label has a bright future and an illustrious past. Armada Music was founded in June 2003 by Armin van Buuren, Maykel Piron and David Lewis, whose names stand for ‘ArMaDa’. Throughout the years, the record company has brought countless quality releases to the world within the wide spectrum of electronic dance music.
Born on July 21 1992, Ravel’s young age never stopped him from taking the lead amongst the next generation of EDM producers. Developing strong musical skills, he studied orchestral music and kicked off his producing career at only 13 years old. It didn’t take long for the passionate music lover to translate his ideas into sounds. He created a truly unique sonic signature – one of piano power, harmonic balance, and euphoric tales. And so, years later, his originals and remixes are praised by many and loved by more. But, rest assured, the Andrew Rayel story has only just begun.
A DJ of almost fifteen years’ experience – a dedicated and driven individual with a relentless passion for all things energetic. A talented technician who has continued to climb through the ranks of global dance music to truly establish himself amongst the DJing elite. Over the years Bryan has honed his DJing skills by taking his experiences from the dance floor into the DJ box. His current demand is at an all time high and this is evident from the diversity in location of his appearances. He has performed at massive events such as Electronic Daisy Carnival, Electric Zoo, Tomorrowland, Stereosonic, Cream Ibiza and many more. He has toured extensively all over the globe in countries such as USA, Australia, Argentina, Mexico, Egypt, India, all over Europe and beyond.
RUBEN DE RONDE
Synthesizing the landscape surrounding him, Statement! Music!’s Ruben De Ronde keeps his progressive, trance and chilled out mindset in overdrive – striking a signature musical balance. Owning a tune in all he surpasses, the celebrated Dutchman takes his studio to the crowds from his Armada residency to festivals, and A State Of Trance tours with Armin Van Buuren around the globe. DJ, producer and label owner, Ruben has all bases covered, taking his genre spectrum to the next level – always.
Neptune Project, a duo from Swindon, UK, burst onto the electronic scene when their second single, Aztec, was announced on BBC Radio 1 as ‘tune of the summer,’ by world number one DJ, Armin Van Buuren in July 2009. For six months previous, it had been played in every set in Armin’s busy tour schedule, received ‘tune of the week’ in his worldwide popular radio show and was included in his successful ‘A State of Trance’ yearly CD compilation.

As Scotland’s original superclub, the Arches is the stuff of clubbing legend. There really is no other venue like it in the world.
Repeatedly voted one of the top 100 clubs in the world in DJ magazine, the industrial brick arches are home to a continuous roster of the world’s most in demand DJs and producers from across the dance spectrum, whether it be minimal techno, big bassline electro, hardstyle, deep house, UK bass, dubstep or trance.
With a Funktion 1 soundsystem and three fully stocked bars spread over six subterranean arches, the space is transformed each weekend depending on the faces behind the decks. From huge, sell out nights with platinum selling Ibiza trendsetters such as Alesso and Laidback Luke or legendary acts such as Fatboy Slim, Carl Cox and Jeff Mills, to the hottest, most-hyped names on the dance scene’s lips – from Jamie Jones and Nina Kraviz to Jackmaster and Omar S, ours is one of the most diverse club programmes in the city.
As well as the Arches’ own club nights, which have recently brought the likes of Hot Creations label, Madeon and Chase & Status to the venue, for many fans the Arches is synonymous with either of its two biggest nights, Pressure and Colours.
Slam have now been playing and promoting in the Arches since 1992 with their monthly techno and house night Pressure celebrating it’s 16th anniversary in November 2014. Normally taking place on the last Friday of the month, Pressure sees the biggest names in the game playing regularly, with guests like Richie Hawtin, Ben Klock, Laurent Garnier, Joris Voorn, Maya Jane Coles, Pan-Pot, Chris Liebing, Dave Clarke, Len Faki, Dubfire, Gary Beck, Visonquest, Heidi, Vitalic and Green Velvet joining resident DJs Slam in recent times.
Scotland’s biggest dance promoter, Colours regularly bring the biggest and best names in big room house, tech-house, electro and trance to the venue, with recent guests including Alesso, Otto Knows, Laidback Luke, Dannic, Hardwell, Markus Schulz, Showtek, Gareth Emery, Nervo, AN21 & Max Vangeli, Nicky Romero and many more.
