Dillon Francis first arrived as a protégé of Diplo, collaborating on the track Que Que on Mad Decent in 2011.  His 2012 hit Something, Something, Awesome was the first Moombahton track to top the Beatport Charts. After making a name for himself with his ground-breaking remixes, in-demand production mastery, and cutting-edge videos, in October 2014, the artist/producer/remixer/DJ released his long awaited debut album, Money Sucks, Friends Rule on Columbia Records. Now, Francis comes to The Arches in Glasgow to celebrate the release with a speaker-busting live show.

First recognized for helping to bring the tribal dance movement Moombahton to the forefront, Dillon Francis has scattered the dance music landscape with numerous influential EPs thus far, but it is the effervescent debut album that the music world has been patiently waiting for. Tracks include ‘Get Low’ with DJ Snake, the anthemic ‘Love in the Middle of a Firefight’ featuring Brendon Urie (from Panic! At The Disco), ‘We Make It Bounce’ featuring Major LazerStylo G, and ‘Set Me Free’ featuring producer/DJ Martin Garrix.

More than just a music star, part of Dillon’s popularity stems from his hilarious, cat-filled posts on his Vine account and multiple Twitter handles, where he plays various characters such as DJ Rich As Fuck and DJ Hanzel. His ventures into comedy have achieved such viral success that MTV have commissioned a pilot of a sketch show from him.

A talented producer and a unique talent, Saturday 7th February, experience the full Dillon Francis live show at The Arches, as the Friends Rule Tour comes to Glasgow.
