Idlewild frontman Roddy Woomble‘s love for books, words and music make him the perfect fit and a very special guest at Margins, not just due to his two top ten albums and 12 top forty singles with one of the UK’s greatest alt rock acts, but also as a folk musician – recording two acclaimed albums with Kris Drever and John McCusker – and the driving focrce behind Chemikal Underground’s Ballad of The Books. Joined on stage by a full band and progidious folk guitarist Sorren MacLean, support comes from two more of Scotland’s proudest musical exports, Withered Hand and Alasdair Roberts.
