Sun 23 Nov 2014 | 4pm-10pm | £5 (adults) | £2.50 (children)
NKH stands for Non Ketotic Hyperglycinemia, it’s an extremely rare metabolic genetic disorder. There’s no current cure and treatment is limited. There’s a doctor in America looking for better treatment and this event is aimed at raising money to help with his research.
James Reilly was born in April 2014 and has been diagnosed with NKH, making him the only known baby in Scotland to suffer from the disorder.
At the fundraiser, held in The Arches Cafe Bar, there will be entertainment for children, who can attend from 4-8pm. There will be a raffle and tombola and some stalls.
After 8pm there will be a quiz, with a great prize. More raffles, a photo booth, and a silent auction.
Tickets can be purchased via any of the organisers, or via JustGiving.
To purchase your tickets via JustGiving all you have to do is text NKHJ77 and the amount your tickets for the event cost, and send it to 70070.
For example – 1 adult and 2 kids = £10, so text NKHJ77 £10 and send it to 70070.
Remember to keep your confirmation text as this will be your ticket to get into the event.
Please come and have fun, help raise money and awareness. Bring your friends, why not bring 5 friends?
