Last week saw Al Seed return to The Arches with Oog, a companion piece to The Factory (2005) and his first entirely movement based solo work since then.
It seems we weren’t the only ones glad to have him back…
“a rare intensity, a blazing athleticism, and a feeling for visual imagery that sometimes takes the breath away” ★★★★
“As a sequel to The Factory, it’s a brilliant denouement but OOG works, impressively, in its own right with Seed in storming form.” ★★★★
“He is one of the most precise and visceral performers working today. We should treasure him.” ★★★★★
“absolutely engrossing and highly unpleasant physical theatre.” ★★★★
