EVENTS ON IN THE CAFE BAR |

As part of The Arches Cafe Bar Takeover, every few months we invite an artist or performer to bring their individual vision to the building, experimenting with the design, decor and menus in the restaurant to create a unique new space. We then host a few evenings where the artist performs some new work as the audience enjoys an excellent value three course meal for just £9.95.

Third year students from the Contemporary Performance Practice course at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland are the latest to take on the challenge, with their text-inspired makeover Language At The Edge Of Sense. Take a look at the photos, or see them performing on Mon 14th – Wed 16th Jan, then 7th, 8th, 15th, 21st and 22nd Feb. HOSTING EVENTS IN THE CAFE BAR |

The Arches foyer and cafe bar are host to a wide variety of events from a series of regular visual art exhibitions to acoustic nights, fashion showcases, album launches and club nights. If you’re interested in hiring the space, please contact us on cafebar@thearches.co.uk

Also, the Cafe Bar and Restaurant is now providing bespoke catering for corporate events in the venue including birthday parties, weddings and launches for up to 100 people. We can tailor catering to suit all dietary requirements and tastes, whether you’d like a formal a la carte menu, a set menu or a buffet.
