The Arches is an adaptable, popular and impressive venue, ideal for holding gala dinners, staff parties, award ceremonies, product launches, cocktail receptions, themed dinner dances, training days, conference dinners and wedding parties.

Set in Grade A listed Victorian vaults, the brick arches have the enviable attraction of being both distinctive and extremely versatile. Thanks to a highly experienced and famously dedicated in-house technical team, The Arches can be (and has been) transformed into a baroque banquet hall, a 60s party, Casino Royale, a Scottish Baronial hall banquet or a contemporary Scottish dinner and ceilidh. That’s just to name a few: we’re always open to your specific ideas.

The space is equally suitable for holding up to 700 people for a dinner or banquet, 2000 for a drinks reception, or for creating a small intimate event for 100-300 people using one or two arches.

Conference facilities are available for up to 150 – 200 attendees, with stage set and raked seating. Exhibitions are easily catered for throughout the ground floor. Syndicate breakout areas also available.

With catering packages to suit every budget, a late licence and reduced rates for city centre car parking, it’s also only 10 minutes walk from the SECC and preferred rates for corporate clients are available at Jury’s Inn City Centre Hotel (subject to availability)… we can make organising your event a whole lot easier.

NEW!
