In the heart of the Arches dwells a beast. Under constant CCTV observation, the Minotaur – half human, half bull – is adapting to his new life. For all his strength, he is crippled by physical hindrances, doomed to be locked in the dark away from human contact.

Physical performer and animator Calum MacAskill invites brave voyeurs to observe this legendary yet pitiful beast close up as he attempts to perform basic everyday tasks in an intimate performance piece which blurs the lines between public and private.

Make a night of it!
