Amy is a sex worker. Her sister, Rosana, is a radical lesbian. They are both feminists. Together, they reveal everything in this powerful and joyous performance, exploring female sexual identity, feminism and choice.

Sister is a bold and unflinching performance, in which Amy and Rosana attempt to understand their own and each other’s sexual identities and uncover new feminist possibilities. The unique collaboration began when th pair danced naked in Nic Green’s award-winning feminist performance, Triology, at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2009.

Rosana Cade is a Glasgow-based arrtist whose solo work and research is rooted in queer discourse. She received the Athena Award for Walking:Holding in 2011, which ahs since toured extensively, including as part of SPILL National Showcase 2013. Rosana is also a co-founder of //BUZZCUT//, a collaboration dedicated to creating exciting, experimental events for live performance.

Previously presented at Behaviour 2014, supported by National Theatre Studio, Battersea Arts Centre and The Yard.
Part of Made in Scotland showcase.
