RM Hubbert

Behaviour 2012:

RM Hubbert

Martin John Henry

Sat 21 Apr 2012 | 8.30pm | £7

Guitarist and songwriter RM Hubbert plays a gig as part of the Arches’ Behaviour festival following the release of his hotly-tipped second album, Thirteen Lost & Found.

Produced by long-time friend Alex Kapranos (Franz Ferdinand), it features collaborations with artists including Hanna Tuulikki (Nalle), Emma Pollock (The Delgados), Luke Sutherland (Long Fin Killie, Mogwai), Aidan Moffat (Arab Strap) and Alasdair Roberts amongst others. With an emphasis on spontaneity and experimentation, the resulting collection is eclectic and beautiful, with voice, percussion, violin, piano, banjo, accordion, vibraphone and gu zheng all joining Hubbert’s idiosyncratic guitar over the eleven songs.

We are delighted to announce that Hubbert will be joined on stage by Aidan Moffat, Emma Pollock, Alasdair Roberts and Stevie Jones.

Support comes from Martin John Henry.
