Words Per Minute has been showcasing the best of Glasgow’s grassroots talent for a year, whether that’s new writing, beatboxing, megaphone poetry, live blues or stand-up comedy: everyone gets ten minutes to impress and everything is rounded off with a DJ set from Miaoux Miaoux.

This month’s line-up includes:

Short stories from Hannah McGill and Allan Wilson
Music from singer/songwriter Becki Wallace
Performance from Gary McNair
Short film Violence was Offered from Alan McKendrick and Tobias Feltus

For those in the Southside area, Words Per Minute will be appearing as part of Bungo Fest on Sat 8th Oct (3.30pm, Mulberry Street). Featuring Kirstin Innes, Alan Bissett and Kirsty Logan come and and enjoy a bitesize experience of WPM on tour.
