Azari & III bring their live show to the Arches, Glasgow with support from L-Vis 1990 (with Javeon McCarthy, aka Shadz) and Visions Of Trees.

Encapsulating the throbbing pulse of a European city after dark in deepest summer, Azari & III know how to mix detroit techno with soul and electro with funk, channelling the spirit of a baggy 90s rave with the faux-glamour of a cheap New York disco club to create what looks set to be one of the key sounds of this summer.

Comprising producers Alphonse Alixander Lanza III and Dinamo Azari, the duo have become most well known for their tracks featuring guest vocalists Starving Yet Full (SYF) and Fritz Helder, whose dynamic presence has been electrifying live shows from Death Disco in June to the Lovebox festival this summer.

Having released a clutch of 12-inches since they got together two years ago, Reckless With Your Love is easily their most popular yet, referencing Hercules & Love Affair, Frankie Knuckles, Inner City and countless 90s house piano riffs and drum machines. Already a dancefloor staple, it secured a much-coveted Tensnake remix which takes the 90s revivalism one step further by ending with a direct sample of C+C Music Factory’s Gonna Make You Sweat, whilst Into The Night has done well by the Nicolas Jaar treatment. Their self-titled debut album was released in August on Loose Lips Records.

Support comes from Night Slugs co-founder L-Vis 1990 and dreamy electronica act Visions Of Trees.
