Colours are very proud to present the first ever LAST NIGHT ON EARTH show at SWG3. Last Night On Earth is Sasha‘s home for supporting exciting new electronic music talent and his new solo productions. The brand will take their tour to Scotland’s number 1 venue on Saturday 23 May and the head honcho will be back at one of his favourite venues. Alongside Sasha on the night will be Henry Saiz (DJ set) and Kate Simko, making this a night that musical dreams are made of if you love all things house and progressive.
If there are boundaries yet to be broken, then you can bet that Sasha has got them in the crosshairs. He’s been battering them down since Shelley’s, The Hacienda, Renaissance and Twilo; from Airdrawndagger to Invol3r. Since 2011, he’s carved a new way with his increasingly pivotal Last Night On Earth imprint, the label that has introduced into its family fiercely forward-thinking producers like My Favourite Robot’s James Teej, Simon Baker, ThermalBear, Ejeca, Ghosting Season, Max Cooper and Knox.
Boundaries out of the studio have been equally unsafe. Taking over with his Last Night on Earth parties around the globe, Sasha has brought nothing but the finest line-ups to clubbers around the world. Last summer he hit the world-renowned Space Ibiza with a monthly LNOE residency, which showcased the likes of Scuba, Catz & Dogz, Heidi, Magda and of course Sasha himself. He also hosted his first festival arena with Last Night on Earth at SW4 in the capital earlier this year.
It doesn’t stop here though. 2015 will see Sasha taking things to another level on and off the dance floor. Expect big things from his parties around the world, which he is running alongside his imprint label Last Night on Earth. In his own words, Sasha says, “We have some really exciting things planned for 2015, some great releases and I will be collaborating with some of the very talented artists we have championed.”
DJ/PRODUCER/REMIXER – NATURA SONORIS LABEL OWNER – RADIO PRESENTER AND DIRECTOR FOR EL LABERINTO ON RADIO3. Henry Saiz is an electronic music artist who transcends trend and formula to create a musical language that can be difficult to describe, but simple to enjoy.
Kate Simko has carved an international career as an electronic music producer, film composer, live performer, and DJ. Hailing from Chicago, Kate’s music reflects the influences of the city’s underground sounds, as well her background in classical piano and jazz music.
While pursuing a Bachelor of Music from Northwestern University, Kate began DJing on WNUR radio and taking jazz piano lessons, which inspired a shift from classical piano to composing. In 2002, Kate studied composition in Santiago, Chile, and recorded her first album Shapes of Summer with Chilean electronic producer Andres Bucci. The album was released on Traum Records and the duo was named one of the Next 100 Artists by URB Magazine.
Relocated to London, Kate completed a masters in Composition for Screen at the Royal College of Music. She recently co-scored a six-part documentary PBS TV series called Sacred Journeys, and is currently music directing and co-scoring films for the BBC. Outside of film music, in 2015 Kate is set to release an album with Tevo Howard, an EP with Jamie Jones, and debut the much anticipated first EP by London Electronic Orchestra.
See you all down the front!

As Scotland’s original superclub, the Arches is the stuff of clubbing legend. There really is no other venue like it in the world.
Repeatedly voted one of the top 100 clubs in the world in DJ magazine, the industrial brick arches are home to a continuous roster of the world’s most in demand DJs and producers from across the dance spectrum, whether it be minimal techno, big bassline electro, hardstyle, deep house, UK bass, dubstep or trance.
With a Funktion 1 soundsystem and three fully stocked bars spread over six subterranean arches, the space is transformed each weekend depending on the faces behind the decks. From huge, sell out nights with platinum selling Ibiza trendsetters such as Alesso and Laidback Luke or legendary acts such as Fatboy Slim, Carl Cox and Jeff Mills, to the hottest, most-hyped names on the dance scene’s lips – from Jamie Jones and Nina Kraviz to Jackmaster and Omar S, ours is one of the most diverse club programmes in the city.
As well as the Arches’ own club nights, which have recently brought the likes of Hot Creations label, Madeon and Chase & Status to the venue, for many fans the Arches is synonymous with either of its two biggest nights, Pressure and Colours.
Slam have now been playing and promoting in the Arches since 1992 with their monthly techno and house night Pressure celebrating it’s 16th anniversary in November 2014. Normally taking place on the last Friday of the month, Pressure sees the biggest names in the game playing regularly, with guests like Richie Hawtin, Ben Klock, Laurent Garnier, Joris Voorn, Maya Jane Coles, Pan-Pot, Chris Liebing, Dave Clarke, Len Faki, Dubfire, Gary Beck, Visonquest, Heidi, Vitalic and Green Velvet joining resident DJs Slam in recent times.
Scotland’s biggest dance promoter, Colours regularly bring the biggest and best names in big room house, tech-house, electro and trance to the venue, with recent guests including Alesso, Otto Knows, Laidback Luke, Dannic, Hardwell, Markus Schulz, Showtek, Gareth Emery, Nervo, AN21 & Max Vangeli, Nicky Romero and many more.
